Meet Our Staff

Patient Care Coordinator Team:

Donna
Veterinary Assistant

Donna

I’m Donna, a California native. I started my career in veterinary medicine by becoming a certified veterinary technician. I gained several years of experience by working in small animal practices. After relocating to Arizona with my husband and two children, I decided I would enjoy working with clients along with their pets. As a client relations representative and front office manager, I worked for a specialty practice in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery for 15 years. We now call Murfreesboro home and I am excited to be a staff member of the SRVH. Other members of my family are our two dogs “Bucky”, an English Bulldog and “Max”, a Cairn Terrier. In my spare time I create shabby antique furniture with my daughter.

Lori
Veterinary Assistant

Lori

I am Lori, a native of Maine [yes, way up in the corner, some people ask if it is considered Canada]. I graduated with an AAS in Criminal Justice, & an AAS in Veterinary Technology. My husband and I met & worked together in the U.S. Air Force, & fell in love. We own a retail gardening business now in Murfreesboro called Mid TN Hydroponics & Gardening. We have 3 crazy & completely different dogs: Dahlia's our 10 yr old black Lab mix, India's our 8 yr old white Pittie [my #1 sidekick], & Djent's our one & only 3 1/2 yr old male Pittie. I LOVE helping all animals when I can, & we grow our own fruits & vegetables at home [my husband is the green thumb]. I am very happy to be a part of Stones River's family, it's the best veterinary hospital I have worked at, hands down!

My name is Wendy. I am married to my best friend and we have five children: two boys and three girls. I have always had a passion for all God’s creatures and have always studied about them. I have been in this field my whole life and take pride in learning everything about my job. I run my own animal rescue, which includes cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, farm animals and anything small and furry. I have always felt a strong bond with animals and knew it was where God wanted me to be, so I have spent my whole life sharing this with everyone I meet.

Holly

Holly, a Texas native, has worked in the veterinary field for many years. The most fulfilling part of her job is nursing sick animals back to health and building relationships with clients, both two-legged and four-legged. While she enjoys working with both cats and dogs of all sizes, she especially loves working with cats and believes almost every cat is perfect!

Former vocations include youth ministry and zoo keeping. She and her husband, Jason, enjoy trying new recipes, traveling, going to festivals and spending time with their family’s two cats, Penelope and Boris, and Papillon, Jacques.

Kathleen
Veterinary Assistant

Kathleen

My name is Kathleen . A Tennessee native, I was born in Nashville and raised south of Nashville. My father is a veterinarian who has been practicing in Tennessee since the 80s. Growing up, we always had any and every type of critter in our house, from the baby bird who fell out of the tree to the dog wandering down the side of the road. Always having a passion for animals and animal health, I have been working in the veterinary field for over 13 years. I pride myself in educating pet owners on how to keep their 4-legged babies happy, healthy, and a part of the family for many years to come.
